Dog Lovers Wine Mixed Case
£42.20Wine is our passion so we feel pretty lucky to call it work, too. So it really does make us happy when we combine our passion for pooches and premium wine with our Dog Lovers Wine Mixed Case.
We haven’t gone totally barking mad. The wines may have cute labels but in the bottles also lives seriously good wine crafted by talented family-run and owned winemakers, who also share affection for animals.
We also thought how we could support a good cause at the same time as sharing our love of dogs and wine so we will donate 10% of each sale of the Dog Lovers Mixed Case to our local dog re-homing shelter, Wellidog which relies solely on the generosity of donations.
The 3-bottle case price of £42.20 with 10% of each sale going to local dog rehoming charity Wellidog.
In the Dog Lovers Mixed Case:
1x Poppy The Frenchie Grenache Rose 2019 RRP £14.50
Poppy the Frenchie wines are named after the family dog, Poppy. She is a beloved French Bulldog, who is bubbly, full of energy and as all dogs, loves a good pat!
Poppy grew up on the boutique family vineyard, visiting with Paggy and her Mum. She loves to seek shade in the vines, chase birds and during vintage receive many pats from the hand pickers, while she supervises the picking of the grapes.1x Rusty Mutt Catnip Viognier 2017 RRP £14.75
Winemaking is (and should be) a very personal process. The choices in style and direction during the process are almost limitless, so personality plays an enormous role in the way the finished wine looks in the bottle. Winemaker Scott Heidrich was born in the year of the ‘Metal Dog’ according to Chinese astrology. The Metal Dog quickly became Rusty Mutt and the unique personality traits of Winemaker Scott Heidrich describe the wines we make.
1 x Hugh Hamilton, Jim Jim Shiraz, 2018 RRP £12.95
Jim Jim was Hugh’s faithful Labrador/Kelpie, a highly intelligent sheepdog that had some of the native wild dog, the dingo in its genes. Every vintage Jim Jim would eat Shiraz grapes only when they were ripe for the picking, so with viticultural skills like that Hugh decided he should get his own brand. Jim Jim went to the big kennel in the sky in November 2010 but his talent is remembered in his wines.

Claymore, YNWA “The Boot Room” Shiraz, 2017
£18.95You‘ll Never Walk Alone is perhaps the most famous song in football, and is heard before kick-off at every Liverpool match at Anfield and has been adopted as the Football Club’s anthem.
In 2015, Claymore Wines was appointed the Official Liverpool Football Club Tour 2015 Match Sponsor for Adelaide. Later that year Claymore signed a three-season deal to be the ‘Official Wine Partner of Liverpool FC in Australia’. While this partnership is no longer current but Claymore Wines passion for the club still runs strong.
“The Boot Room” Shiraz is made with selected parcels of estate grown fruit from Claymore’s Watervale and Penwortham vineyards. The 2015 demonstrates the exceptional quality of Claymore’s low yielding, non-irrigated vines (irrigated vines tend to create dilute flavours).
18 month maturation in oak barrels complements juicy dark berry fruit in this full flavoured wine – rich and generous with soft, lingering finish.

Claymore, You’ll Never Walk Alone 2019/2020 Premiership Cabernet Sauvignon
£49.50COLOUR – Deepest blood red
BOUQUET – Darkly inviting, the aromatics are rich and deep. The wine displays hints of Christmas cake and chocolate with lashes of blackberry and dark forest fruit. This is a refined yet brooding example of Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at it finest.
PALATE – Powerfully elegant – a hallmark of the finest Cabernet wines from the Clare Valley. This release carries amazing fruit weight and depth of character – like all of the best performers – balanced and complemented by judicious oak handling (French oak, 24 months, hogsheads). The tannin structure is deceptively ‘velvet’ in the mouth, the benefits of extended barrel maturation and careful oak selection showing in the nuanced nature of this wine.
GENERAL – Produced from the fruit of 60+ year old , low yielding non irrigated vines and crafted with an eye to the long game, winemaker Emma Walker has selected the best in the shed to produce this incredibly limited release.
Demonstrating the rewards of patience and belief – Cabernet Sauvignon, the king of wine-grapes, captured and presented as the perfect accompaniment to the BIG occasion.
SERVE WITH – Let this one breathe – especially in youth – to allow full expression. Cabernet Sauvignon is built for food – think charred lamb loin with minted peas or rare roast beef fillet and red wine jelly, but we also think it’s perfectly acceptable to sit back with a wedge of crumbly matured cheddar and some jatz while you replay a highlight reel of the 19-20 season for your mates in those pale blue shirts.
WINEMAKER – Emma Walker
Please note due to this being a limited release we have limited to 1 bottle per order.

Fox Creek, ‘Arctic Fox’ NV
£17.50Fox Creek’s Arctic Fox is perfect for those seeking an alternative to Champagne.
A blend of three white varieties reflect all that is desirable from McLaren Vale’s climate and soils. Comprising of 55% Vermentino, 23% Verdelho, 22% Sauvignon Blanc.
The Vermentino’s crisp, structural and vibrant contribution is filled out by the Verdelho’s rich, tropical mid palate and yeasty lees stirred characteristics, while the Sauvignon Blanc twist gives the aromatics a lift and provides a herbaceous edge.
So how does it taste: A crisp and refreshing mix of lemon, lime, grapefruit and white nectarine flavours leading into a soft and fleshy mid palate of honeydew, green apple and lemon sorbet. The focused acidity combined with the voluminous mouth-feel finish the wine with crispness, persistence and length.
Suitable for vegans!

Hugh Hamilton, The Bloodline Set
£175.00Hugh and Mary bring you their own unique trio of wines, a Grenache, a Shiraz and a Pedro Ximenez in honour of their forebear, Richard Hamilton.
Richard, a respectable tailor living on the high streets of Dover with his wife and 8 children, engaged in a second business under the cover of darkness – smuggling casks of Bordeaux wine across the English Channel. When Richard decided a change of scenery was needed he packed up his family and headed for the newly colonised South Australia. It was here that he started growing Grenache, Shiraz and Pedro Ximenez grapes for ‘the health of the family’. So started South Australia’s first wine dynasty that continues to this day.
Now, 180 years on, Richard’s legacy and secret are materialised in this beautifully crafted tailor’s crate – a trio of noteworthy wines smuggled beneath a limited edition cashmere throw both included in the order. Be one of the first to own a piece of genuine Australian Wine History.
HAMILTON 1837 GRENACHE 2016
There is an amazing duality that is fresh, perfumed and alive but there is also such amazing depth and length to the palate.
In part, the perfume is the result of the 30% whole bunch fruit included in the ferment but there is a very defined varietal lift that insists the whole bunch character is far from the whole story. The tremendous fruit character is carefully held in check by the assertive palate structure.HAMILTON 1837 SHIRAZ 2016
A necessary component was to add depth to the palate and to complement the high tone aromatics. The answer lay in the middle of the Church Block in the 21 rows of Shiraz that usually make Black Blood II. The generosity of the palate grounded the flightiness of the other two Shiraz, easing them into a satisfying whole.HAMILTON 1837 PEDRO XIMENEZ NV
Voluptuous, intense and sustained, the Pedro is a masterpiece made possible only by time and patience; so long in fact that the wine has long ago outlived the vineyard that made it. If given the chance it will outlive all of us as well.
Over many years the original base has been over-blended multiple times, with lengthy periods of rest between better known as the Solera system, building phenomenal depth of flavour and viscosity. The cumulative effect of many years of slow evaporation has concentrated and enhanced the character. A fitting respect for its rarity is achieved at the end of the bottle as you try to extract every last drop, knowing that there isn’t any more where this came from. This product includes a crafted tailor’s crate and a limited edition cashmere throw!

Sparkling Red Wine Mixed Case
£38.90Here at Tilley’s Wines, we’ve long had great success with sparkling red wines.
The first sparkling red wine we imported was Fox Creek’s Vixen which remains a year-long bestseller but it does come into it’s own at Christmas. It is made from Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and we like to describe it as our Black Forest Gateau wine.
Quite different to the Vixen is our lighter Italian sparkling red wine, 47 AD Marsecco, Frizzante Marzemino. We lord this up as an ultimate party wine, guaranteed to convert any non-believer.
Cantina di Soliera Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC, Sweet (8%) NV is a traditional off-dry style produced from the Grasparossa grape – widely considered to be the highest quality of the Lambrusco varieties, with thicker skin and ripe tannins. It has lashings of vibrant cherry and berry fruit.
The case price of £38.90 includes a 5% discount of the RRP case price of £40.95 selection is as follows:
x 1 Fox Creek ‘Vixen’ Sparkling Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc NV (RRP£17.95)
1 x Cantina di Soliera Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC, Sweet (8%) NV (RRP £10.50)

Prosecco Mixed Case
£37.85A 5% discount has been applied to this fantastic trio!
When we decided to make a prosecco mixed case we spent longer than we’d like to admit in the warehouse talking about our favourite Proseccos. It was a close call but we have narrowed it down to the three we think will make any celebration, no matter how small, special. Bubbles in the Bubble anyone?
x2 One of our best selling Proseccos is the 47 Anno Domini Organic Diamond Cut Prosecco DOC Spumante. The beauty of this wine doesn’t just end at the bottle. This very soft wine offers refreshing acidity with lots fruity flavours such as apple, apricot and some banana. We don’t doubt it won’t end up on a few Instagrams along with someone quickly googling ‘Wine Bottle Craft Ideas’ and hiding the empty bottle in their bag.
x1 Last but not least is our 47 Anno Domini Prosecco DOC Spumante Extra Dry Millesamato. Nicknamed the ‘Squiggly One’ in our office, our new arrival is dry and velvety, fresh, vibrant and fruity. Simply put Millesamato means from a single vintage (at least 85% of the Glera grapes have to be from the same harvest). This is the Prosecco for the Prosecco purist. .
-
47 AD Prosecco Frizzante DOC NV
£11.95With so much mass produced Prosecco out there it’s hard to know what one to choose. We continue to champion and import this modern Prosecco from 47 Anno Domini. We colloquially call this ‘Blackboard’ Prosecco.
As a Frizzante it is delicately sparkling with citrus, pear and floral aromas which flow to the palate. You will notice its closure uses the traditional ‘tappo spago’, the cork closure with string; this symbolises their connection to time-honoured methods once used with sparkling wines from Veneto.
-
47 Anno Domini Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry D.O.C. Millesimato
£12.85In brief: Nicknamed the ‘Squiggly One’ in our office we appreciate that the market is flooded with Prosecco but we are always on the look out for small and interesting finds to import on an exclusive basis.
Appearance: A straw yellow in colour with hints of green.
Nose: Fruity green apple and white flowers.
Palate: Dry and velvety, fresh, vibrant and fruity, full-bodied, excellent acidity and long-lasting flavour.
What’s on the label: Millesamato simple means from a single vintage (at least 85% of the Glera grapes have to be from the same harvest).
-
Small Celebration Mixed Case
£32.68Even though we shouldn’t have favourites, its no coincidence that these three wines appear at our celebrations, no matter how big or small, time and time again. We’ve even included a 5% discount!
What ever the occasion these wines have all risen to the challenge, the ‘only drinks champagne’ friend is taken with the organic Diamond Cut Prosecco (and even asked to take the bottle home, breaking out the fairy lights?), the ‘wannabe sommelier who thinks Pinot Grigio is flavourless’ will be converted to this high altitude Le Magnolie classic, the ‘hopeless romantic’ will be asking “where art thou get this bottle of Romeo & Juliet?”

Hugh Hamilton Dark Arts Mixed Case
£95.33Blending is a dark art; the mystery of transmuting two different wines into one and becoming better than either of the two that made it. Orchestral rather than solo, and with as much depth, complexity and originality as we can summon. Hugh Hamilton mixes may sometimes confound but they should always entertain, and above all bring pleasure. Dark Arts keeps the spirit of experimentation alive and pushes our understanding of wine and what makes it.
While the method may be a mystery the components are not. Every single percent in the bottle is listed on it. Each variety graphically rendered to form the label itself. Hugh Hamilton believe there can be greater pleasure from wine through understanding its makeup and origin.
The case price of £95.33 includes a 5% discount of the RRP case price of £100.35 selection is as follows:
1 x Hugh Hamilton ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ Shiraz Viognier 2017 RRP £25.50

-
Hugh Hamilton Agent Provocateur 2018 Grenache, Gewürztraminer, Viognier
£19.50Although a few less grape varieties than the 2017 vintage, the 2018 Agent Provocateur is a great introduction into the world of Dark Arts (Hugh Hamilton’s range of blended wines)
Hugh Hamilton is the 5th generation of a large wine dynasty and is regarded as the black sheep of the family.
His daughter and 6th generation of the family, Mary, continues the legacy making Hugh Hamilton Australia’s oldest wine family.
Hugh is the master of a most reprobate flock and his Agent Provocateur is a member of his Dark Arts range – a range of wines from varieties that are not meant to go together but work!
Winemaker’s Notes “The previous incarnation of the Agent had five components, and yet this one has only three. Whether it was to do with the vintage or the varieties I’m not sure, but we were able to complete the picture with less on the label this year.”
Bouquet Roses. Roses. Roses. Raspberry. Roses.
Palate Rich and textured, the palate persists, revealing multiple layers of fruit, warm spices, cherry-pie, fresh strawberries, plums, pink lady apples, blueberries, and musk sticks.
Food Match The Agent loves a duck – preferably with 5-Spice, perhaps as a pancake, but definitely with spice to match the wine.

Addington Garden Cider ‘Wollaston Pressing 2020’
£3.30Made with windfall apples picked from our village of Wollaston, Northamptonshire (picked by Ivor Tilley and his two grandsons!)
In The Bottle: Peter makes his cider from the garden fruit of Little and Great Addington and the surrounding villages. This product is made in small batches and the contents will vary in nature (I add a very small amount of sugar to bottle-condition and get some fizz).
Our cider is made without adding sulphites, colourings, water, sweeteners, or anything else! It is made like you’d expect it to be, from 100% apple juice (technically commercially produced cider only has to b 36% fruit juice in it, the rest is, well we don’t know what!).
We do add Young’s Cider Yeast to ensure a healthy fermentation – there’s nothing worse than all of the physical effort of making the cider being ruined by some errant yeasts!
It is bottle conditioned so if you like your cider cloudy, pour the whole bottle into a glass, otherwise pour and leave the sediment behind. Please accept this cider for what it is, an unadulterated product made by hand with care and passion.
Peter Little, Hand crafter at the Addington Garden Cidery.
*Best consumed within two years of purchase. Made from 100% fruit juice with nothing added except a little yeast and touch of sugar.
**May contain pieces of apple.
***It is strong, please drink responsibly.
