Monthly Wine Giveaway T&Cs
By entering Tilley’s Wines giveaways and competitions, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
Tilley’s Wines reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition rules at any time.
Employees of Tilley’s Wines, or any company involved in the competition or members of their immediate family or household are not eligible to enter the competition.
The promotions are open to UK and ROI residents only.
There is no purchase requirement to enter the competition.
To enter, simply complete the short entry form at /valentines-day/ and press submit. The winner will be randomly selected from entries. The winner will have 5 working days to respond before a new winner will be selected.
The winner will receive a case of wine. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Tilley’s Wines reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. If the potential winner is unable to take the prize, the potential winner shall forfeit any and all rights to the prize.
The judges’ decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into. Illegible entries, offensive, indecent, illegal, irresponsible or other inappropriate content or those not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified; by entering the competition, competitors will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.
Tilley’s Wines cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. The acceptance of the prize experience is a contract between the winner and the providers of the various elements of the prize experience and is subject also to any terms and conditions of the providers of those elements.
Entrants agree on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Released Parties”) to release, defend and hold harmless and any partner involved. Including the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, expenses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, claims and demands whatsoever against Released Parties arising out of or in connection with entrant’s participation, acceptance and use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related activities.
The prize winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity; Tilley’s Wines reserves the right to use names of winners, their photographs and audio/visual recordings of them in publicity. Photos may be used in the press or online and on social media.
The laws of England and Wales govern this agreement. The competition is promoted by Tilley’s Wines.

Bin-End Stock Terms and Conditions
Our stock for bin-ends is invariably limited. If we do not have enough stock to satisfy your order when placed, we will contact you by email or telephone immediately to let you know the situation. We will then offer you a full refund or offer you a suitable alternative.
Can I cancel my order?
No problem, just let us know within 7 days of receiving your wine and we will be happy to refund the cost of the wine, minus the delivery charge. Please be aware we will only arrange the refund once we have received back your total order. Please note the customer is responsible to delivery charges if returning the wine.
How will vintage changes be dealt with?
All of our wines are grown in small parcels so there is only a finite supply for each growth and therefore vintage wines are subject to change. When a vintage changes, the next available vintage will be supplied.
How are the wines priced?
All the prices of the wines include VAT at its current rate. All prices are correct at publication, but may be subject to alteration subsequently.
What do I do if the wine has a fault?
In some rare cases there may be a fault with a wine. For quality problems, please email or call us and we will deal with the issue correctly.
Can I pick-up the wine?
Yes no problem. You can collect your wine from Tilley’s Wines during office hours and we will waive the delivery charge. Unfortunately, ordering online does not allow us to exclude delivery charges but if you let us know your plans to pick up the wine, we will arrange a refund of the delivery charge. Our office is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and is closed at weekends and bank holidays. Please email or call us in advance to confirm a date and time for collection and we will make sure your order is ready for you.
Where else do we deliver?
Delivery to Northern Ireland and UK Islands (e.g. Isle of Man) can be arranged. Please contact us for a quote before ordering.
What if the wine arrives damaged?
Please check the wine on delivery as accidents can happen. When you sign for the wine you must make it known if the wine(s) are damaged and then report this to us within 7 days ,where will of course send you a refund.
Do I have to sign for the wine?
A signature is not required from the courier. If there is nobody in when the courier arrives they will leave a card for you to contact them to arrange re-delivery. If they haven’t been contacted within three days they will return the goods to us. We can then arrange for re-delivery but this will incur an additional delivery charge.
When you buy the wine online there is a comment box where you can add a note to tell us any special delivery instructions e.g. leave in garage if no one answers. We can then instruct our courier that a signature is not necessary.
Who will deliver the wine?
Where possible Ivor and Annabelle like to jump in the car and hand deliver the wine as they like to meet the great people who are buying their wine. If it is not Ivor or Annabelle, it will be one of their small team or through our courier UPS (messages will come from account BFA) which offer a tracked, two-day delivery service.
When will my wine be delivered?
We will dispatch your order so it arrives within 3 working days of monies having cleared and all effort is made to ensure that it arrives safely within this timescale. Usually, this is much quicker and most often wines are delivered next working day. Orders are required by 12 noon to be dispatched the same day.
How much do we charge for delivery?
Delivery is free of charge if you spend over £125, otherwise a single charge of £6.50 per order is added to any single UK mainland address. In some circumstances delivery might be more expensive, in which case Tilley’s Wines reserves the right to adjust delivery charges accordingly. However, we will contact you in such event, and you will have the right to cancel the order.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
Online, Internet Banking, Cash or Cheque.
Online – Through secure payment transfer using Paypal.
Internet Banking – Sort Code: 40-46-03, Account Number: 32010089
Cheque – Please make your cheque payable to Tilley’s Wines and write your name on the back.
(Please note we will deliver your wine within 3 days from when monies have reached our account).
Cash – for local collections. Please do not send cash through the post.
Can I order just one bottle?
The short answer is YES!
When we launched Tilley’s Wines online in 2006 our minimum was 12 bottles. In 2016 we reduced our minimum to 6 bottles and the tail end of 2017 we reduced the minimum to 1 bottle.
To keep up with the times, we are trialing 1 bottle minimum to offer as much flexibility as possible in our attempt to get more lovely people buying our wine. If this is well received we will make it permanent.
The delivery charge remains £6.50 (even for 1 bottle orders as this is the direct cost from our courier if we distribute 1 bottle or 12 bottles).
For orders over £125 and Northamptonshire postcodes delivery is FREE
