VOODOO CHILD CHARDONNAY 2022

Appearance: Pale gold

Nose: Distinct and complex – bright, fresh stone fruits and melon, with notes of oyster shell. Subtle spiced oak with a hint of minerality.

Palate: This is a wine of great fruit purity – a true expression of Watervale Chardonnay. Crisp, natural acidity complements the bright stone fruit; the light, textural elements bring structure to this wine, a perfect food match. Light spice and toasty notes from the gentle French oak are layered with yeasty lees, creaminess and vanilla.

About the wine:  A very limited production Chardonnay; produced from the tiny yields of Claymore's 80+ year old vines grown at Watervale.
