HOW TO ORDER
Q) Can I order just one bottle?
A) I am afraid we only sell wines by the case only (a case = 12 x 750ml bottles). However, we totally welcome mixed cases and in fact encourage it, so please free to mix and match.
Q) How can I pay?
A) Online, Internet Banking, Cash or Cheque.
Online - Through secure payment transfer using Paypal.
Internet Banking - Sort Code: 40-46-03, Account Number: 32010089
Cheque - Please make your cheque payable to Tilley's Wines and write your name on the back.
(Please note we will deliver your wine within 3 days from when monies have reached our account).
Q) How much do we charge for delivery?
A) Delivery is charged at £8.95 per case to any single UK mainland address. Please note delivery is FREE ON 4 OR MORE CASES. In some circumstances delivery might be more expensive, in which case Tilley's Wines reserves the right to adjust delivery charges accordingly. However, we will contact you in such event, and you will have the right to cancel the order.
Q) When will my wine be delivered?
We will dispatch your order so it arrives within 3 working days of monies having cleared and all effort is made to ensure that it arrives safely within this timescale. Orders are required by 12 noon to be dispatched the same day.
Q) Who will deliver the wine?
A) Where possible Ivor himself likes to jump in the car and hand deliver the wine as he likes to meet the great people who are buying his wine. If it is not Ivor, it will be one of his small team or through the APC Fragile Handing System.
Q) Do I have to sign for the wine?
A) A signature from an adult aged 18 or over is required by the courier on delivery. If there is nobody in when the courier arrives they will leave a card for you to contact them to arrange redelivery. If they haven't been contacted within three days they will return the goods to us. We can then arrange for redelivery but this will incur an additional delivery charge.
Q)What if the wine arrives damaged?
A) Please check the wine on delivery as accidents can happen. When you sign for the wine you must make it known if the wine(s) are damaged and then report this to us within 7 days ,where will of course send you a refund.
Q) Where else do we deliver?
A) Delivery to Northern Ireland and UK Islands (e.g. Isle of Man) can be arranged. Please contact us for a quote before ordering.
Q) Can I pick-up the wine?
A) Yes no problem. You can collect your wine from Tilley's Wines during office hours and we will waive the delivery charge. Unfortunately, ordering online does not allow us to exclude delivery charges but if you let us know your plans to pick up the wine, we will arrange a refund of the delivery charge. Our office is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and is closed at weekends and bank holidays. Please email or call us in advance to confirm a date and time for collection and we will make sure your order is ready for you.
Q) What do I do if the wine has a fault?
A) In some rare cases there may be a fault with a wine. For quality problems, please email or call us and we will deal with the issue correctly.
Q) Can I cancel my order?
A) No problem, just let us know within 7 days of receiving your wine and we will be happy to refund the cost of the wine, minus the delivery charge. Please be aware we will only arrange the refund once we have received back your total order. Please note the customer is responsible to delivery charges if returning the wine.
PRICES OF WINES
Q) How are the wines priced?
A) All the prices of the wines include VAT at its current rate. All prices are correct at publication, but may be subject to alteration subsequently.
Q) How will vintage changes be dealt with?
A) All of our wines are grown in small parcels so there is only a finite supply for each growth and therefore vintage wines are subject to change. When a vintage changes, the next available vintage will be supplied.
