Minko is a boutique, family-run winery (even the name is made-up using some of the letters of the family’s names) producing premium cool climate wines. Minko's vineyards, 10.5 hectares, are nestled in the Southern Fleurieu wine region at Mount Compass.

Minko practices sustainable eco-agriculture. The Nangkita and Tookayerta Creeks flow through Minko; their wetlands and associated native vegetation are valued features of the property along with some 66 hectares of heritage listed land.

The cool, maritime climate ensures steady, slow, ripening periods, ideal for developing fruit flavours on the vine. Aspect combined with soil profile of glacial sands over ironstone produces medium bodied savoury reds of complexity, depth and finesse.
